'Let's Talk' is an initiative to open up the conversation about mental illness and get people the help they need. One in five Canadians will struggle with mental illness in their lifetime. If you are in emotional distress, and need someone to talk to, call the Vancouver Island Crisis Line to connect with Emergency Mental Health Services. The number is - 1-888-494-3888 Today, Bell will contribute five cents to mental health initiatives for every text message and long distance call made from a Bell phone. Five cents from every 'retweet' of the Bell 'Let's Talk' Day message will also be donated.
